– 9:30am We are pleased to present two Morning Lectures at the Oxford University Catholic Chaplaincy on Rose Place. There will be a coffee break in between the lectures.
The archeological findings and history of Greyfriars by Mr. Tom Hassall, OBE MA FSA Hon. MCIfA, Emeritus Fellow of St. Cross College, Oxford and Ben Ford of Oxford Archaeology.
The Spirituality of Architecture and Franciscan Preaching in the Spirit of St. Francis of Assisi by Friar Michael Lasky OFM Conv., General Delegate of the Greyfriars for Justice, Peace, and the Integrity of Creation, Rome, Italy.
– 12:30pm Luncheon at the Catholic Chaplaincy (RSVP needed/cost £10)
-2:00pm After lunch, join us for a tour of the significant archeological sites of the Greyfriars Convent. We will depart from the Oxford University Catholic Chaplaincy on Rose Place.
– 4:00pm Roman Catholic Mass at Blackfriars Chapel, St. Giles Street for the closing of the 800th Franciscan Anniversary celebrations.
